Give Up Meat?

A new study found that making micro-changes to your menu can significantly reduce your risk of early death. Here are some small summer diet swaps that can add up to a huge health payoff, from NBC News:
   --Replace refined carbs with whole grains.
   --Add a serving of fruits and veggies to your menu.
   --Go meatless one day per week.
   --Replace sweetened yogurt with unsweetened yogurt.
   --Replace butter with olive oil.
   --Have a serving of nuts instead of pretzels or chips.
   --Replace red or processed meat with a plant-based protein (like black beans, lentils, chickpeas or tofu.)
   --Have a serving of seafood instead of chicken or beef.
