5-Pound Catfish Falls From The Sky!

Lisa Lobree was walking near the Philadelphia art museum on the morning of Labor Day when she heard a "rustling" in the trees above her, and was suddenly slammed in the face with a 5-pound catfish.

As she sat dumbstruck as to how a catfish fell from the sky, bystanders had already figured it out.  Witnesses saw a bird, (most likely a hawk or eagle) drop the fish more than 50 feet before hitting Lisa and flying away.

Lisa had several cuts to her face and neck and says the worst part was how disgusting she smelled afterwards.

Oh, and by the way, Lisa did a lot of fishing growing up, but this is the first catfish she's ever caught.

A Woman Stuck by a Needle in a Target Parking Lot Gets $4.6 Million

Carla Garrison from Anderson, South Carolina was at Target back in May of 2014, when her eight-year-old daughter picked up a random hypodermic needle someone had left in the parking lot.

So Carla swatted it out of her hand.  But in the process, the needle jabbed her in the palm of HER hand.

She was taken to the hospital, and was put on medicine to prevent her from getting HIV and hepatitis.  Luckily, Carla hasn't contracted any diseases, but she DID wind up suing Target when they wouldn't cover her medical bills.

She offered to settle for $12,000, they offered her $750.  So Carla took them to court and on Thursday, a jury awarded her $4.6 MILLION.  Target is definitely going to appeal.

A Guy Scares Off an Armed Robber By Throwing a 50-Inch TV at Him

If someone breaks into your house and points a gun at you, I guess your instincts would be to grab whatever weapon you can.

John Sullivan was at home in Kansas City, Missouri last week, when a man busted into the house and pointed a GUN at him.  His wife and his four sons were all sleeping upstairs, and John's immediate reaction was to protect them.

So he grabbed the first thing he could, which turned out to be his 30-pound, 50-inch flat screen TV.  He THREW the TV across the room at the guy, and it worked.  The robber ran out of the house, jumped into his getaway car, and drove off.  The cops are trying to track him down.

The most amazing part is, John didn't even destroy the TV.  There are a few cracks on the top of the frame, but otherwise it's in good shape.
