A 75-Year-Old Woman Got Picked Up by a Tornado and Survived

A huge tornado that was almost a half-mile wide did a bunch of damage in east Texas last Saturday, and 75-year-old Charlesetta Williams was right in the middle of it.

She and her son Ricky ended up jumping into her bathtub right before the tornado hit.  That's usually a good spot because bathroom walls are sturdier because of the pipes.

However, the tornado sheared off the back of the house, picked up the tub, and tossed it through the air.  Charlesetta had a blanket over her head, so she didn't see much, but they could feel the tub spinning around before it landed.

They ended up in some woods nearby.  And the FREAKY part is, neither of them was seriously hurt.  Charlesetta was a little sore the next day, but that's it.

A Guy Was Caught Speeding and Blamed It on the Wind Pushing Him

You tell me if cops have heard it all:

A guy was pulled over for speeding in a city called Bootenal in Western Australia on Monday.

When the cop asked him why he was going 10 miles-per-hour over the speed limit, he had a unique excuse.  He said, quote, "The wind was pushing me."

Unfortunately for him, he was in a pickup truck, not a sailboat, so he got a $150 speeding ticket.

A Guy Steals a Car to Drive to a Meeting With His Parole Officer

There's a 21-year-old guy in Parker, South Dakota named Ashton Olsen, who had a meeting with his parole officer on Monday.

And clearly he knew it'd be bad if he missed it.  Well, he wasn’t about to let that happen, so . . . he stole a car to drive himself there.

During the meeting, the cops found the stolen car in the parking lot.  So he was arrested for felony possession of a stolen vehicle . . . . . and violating his parole!  Stupid Criminals!!!
