Actress In Britney Spears TV-Movie Says The Role Was 'Extremely Traumatic'

The actress who plays Britney Spears in the upcoming Lifetime TV-movie about the singer said that portraying Britney was "extremely traumatic."

During an interview with The New York Daily News, Natasha Bassett said, "It was extremely traumatic.  Her entire life, she’s been chased by paparazzi and she’s constantly being scrutinized and in the public eye, so it’s not normal.”

By the way, Britney has no involvement in the movie, with her rep saying that Britney “will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime movie, nor does it have her blessing."

“Britney Ever After” will air on Lifetime on Saturday, February 18th.

The "People's Choice Awards" 

Last night's "People's Choice Awards" featured ELLEN DEGENERES breaking the record for most People's Choice awards, by bringing her total to 20.

BLAKE SHELTON won Favorite Album and Favorite Male Country Artist.  He also called GWEN STEFANI, quote, "the hottest date here tonight."

Winning Favorite Movie of the Year:  "Finding Dory”, Favorite Movie Actor:  Ryan Reynolds, and Favorite Movie Actress:  Jennifer Lawrence.
