A Bride Is Holding an Auction Where Her Friends Can Bid to be Bridesmaids

This is either a brilliant new way to make money or one of THE most obnoxious ideas ever conceived.

A 33-year-old woman just posted on Reddit about what her 22-year-old sister is doing for her wedding.  Her sister is getting married at the end of next month, and she still hasn't picked her wedding party.

So she just sent out invitations to a ton of her friends where they can BID MONEY to be one of her bridesmaids.  And whichever six girls spend the most will get the spots, and the one who has the highest bid of all will get the maid-of-honor role.

One of the reasons the woman is upset at her sister is because her fiancé is RICH, so she doesn't even need the money.

The Heat Isn’t The Only Thing That’s Rising

The heatwave that's been taking over the U.S. didn't help a dump truck full of bread dough.

The load was in several plastic bags, leftover waste from a bakery, and on it's way to a processing plant to become feed for livestock.

With the heat beating down onto the dough, the driver stuck in traffic, and the long commute, the dough swelled right out of the bags and started to drip all over the highway.

The driver pulled over and called police who waited for the DOT to arrive and start the cleanup.  (click here to see the video.)

Rats In the Attic?  Think Again!

Most people have mice, not squatters in their attic.

A woman in Arlington, Virginia, woke up in the middle of the night hearing noises in her attic.  She distinctly heard someone WALKING in the attic.

The woman, who didn't want to be identified, said, "I heard footsteps above me, and I checked in with my landlord, because sometimes he's used the storage above."

Nope, not him. Police were called and they found ANTHONY JONES, who's 60, actually living in the space.  He was arrested and neither the woman or police are sure how long he's been living there.
