A Corporate Sponsor For Your Wedding?

A couple in Canada realized how expensive their wedding was going to be, so they came up with a creative solution.

JASON MIELKE and REBECCA HANSEN of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, recruited multiple corporate sponsors to help cover wedding expenses.  The idea came to them after Mielke lost his job and realized they couldn't afford to pay for the nuptials.

The husband-to-be told his bride, "I still want to give you the dream wedding that you've always wanted." So far, they have ten sponsors and Mielke said he's willing to print a company logo on his tuxedo to raise even more money.

The wedding is scheduled for November.


What, No Jalapenos????

If you love guacamole, you'll be sorry you weren’t in Jalisco, Mexico earlier this month.

Hundreds of people got together in Jalisco to create the world's largest bowl of guacamole.  The concoction was sponsored by Mexican a food supplier using over 25-thousand avocados, 750 onions, and 90 bundles of cilantro.

The resulting serving of guac weighed around 65-hundred pounds. It was officially certified by Guinness as the world's largest. Click here to see pics.


Survival of the Fittest!

A man in China was boiling a pot of live crabs when something unexpected happened.

Video shows one of the crabs climbing out of the pot of water and using its claws to switch off the stove burner.  The crustacean's acrobatics saved the lives of his fellow crabs.

However, it's unclear from the video if the cook simply threw the crab back in and turned on the heat again. Here’s the video:
