It Rained Money In Indianapolis This Week

Money was falling from the sky in Indianapolis earlier this week.

On Tuesday, $1-dollar bills began to fall on pedestrians, covering streets and cars with cash.  The “money-rain” quickly caused chaos as people scrambled to pick up as much cash as they could hold.

Police noticed that the cash was flying off the roof of a 10-story building nearby – and when they went to investigate, they found hundreds of $1-dollar bills still stacked on the roof -- as well as five partial money wrappers with the words "Federal Reserve Bank."

Police believe that the cash was stolen during a robbery of a restaurant in the building a few days prior – and that the thieves had to dump it in order to make their getaway with the larger bills.

Gambler Left A Blackjack Table To Rob Bank, Then Returns To Play

52-year old Kerry Johnson of Charleston, West Virginia had been at the Mardi Gras Casino for several hours when he suddenly put down a $25 chip to hold his spot and walked out of the casino.

He then drove 13 miles to a local bank and gave tellers there a note saying he had a bomb and a weapon – and to give him all of the money.

Kerry then made off with an unknown amount of cash then returned to the same blackjack table and kept gambling.

Police didn’t have a hard time catching him because both casinos and banks have a ton of surveillance cameras and Kerry wasn’t wearing a disguise.  Stupid Criminals!!

He now faces 5-to-18 years in prison when he's sentenced later this year.

Three Guys See a Woman Fighting Off a Mugger . . . So They Steal Her Car

Emma Ebossi was walking back to her car at a gas station in Atlanta on Sunday, when another woman tried to steal her cell phone.

They were wrestling over it in the parking lot, and Emma dropped her keys at one point.  Luckily three guys were also there, and saw the whole thing.  But instead of jumping in to help, they grabbed Emma's keys off the ground and stole her CAR.

The cops don't think the three guys were working with the woman who was trying to steal the phone.  They just saw Emma's keys fall, and realized they could take her car while she was preoccupied.

All four of them got away, and the cops are still looking for the car.  It's not clear if the woman ended up with Emma's phone or not.  But it sounds like it basically destroyed Emma's trust in people.
