Jennifer Lawrence Almost Died in a Plane Crash

JENNIFER LAWRENCE had a scare on Saturday morning when her plane had to make an emergency landing.

Sometimes emergency landings are precautionary . . . but in this case, they were in REAL danger.  She was in a small, private plane that had taken off from Louisville, Kentucky . . . and at 31,000 feet, one of the engines failed.

The pilot was able to maneuver the plane to make an unscheduled landing in Buffalo.  It’s a good thing, because during the landing their only other engine failed in the process.  Thankfully, it held out long enough for them to land safely.

Jennifer is safe, and no one was hurt.  Jennifer is from Louisville . . . and had been back home visiting family.

Adam "The One True Batman" West Has Died

Batman died on Friday.

And no, I'm not talking about Christian Bale or Ben Affleck . . . or Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, or, God forbid, George Clooney.  I'm talking about THE Batman.  The ONE TRUE BATMAN, ADAM WEST, from the original TV series, “Batman.”

Adam's family said he passed away after a brief battle with leukemia.  He was 88.

"Batman" debuted in 1966, but only lasted three seasons.  It aired twice a week, with a cliffhanger between each week's episodes.  And it was so popular that everybody wanted to guest star as a villain.  (Check 'em all out here.)

Adam is survived by his wife Marcelle, six children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bill Cosby May Testify This Week

Bill Cosby may take the stand and testify in his own defense this week during the criminal trial over his alleged sexual assault of Andrea Constand.

The 79-year-old Cosby had previously said that he would not testify in the trial, but after the prosecution rested its case on Friday, his lawyers are encouraging him to stand up for himself by taking the stand.

Cosby’s defense will begin their case today, with the trial possibly wrapping up by mid-week. If found guilty, Cosby could face more than 10 years behind bars.
