A Kid with One Arm Bowled a Perfect Game

There's a 14-year-old kid named Jordan Peacock in O'Fallon, Illinois, just across the border from St. Louis, and he hasn't had an easy life.

He was born with only one arm because of a birth defect.  He also has some developmental issues.  But check this out . . .

He's really into bowling, and he's on the junior varsity bowling team at his high school.  His school had a match against another school last Thursday that he wasn't even supposed to bowl in.

His coach decided to sub him in for another kid at the last minute.  And then without even warming up, he got 12 strikes in a row and bowled a PERFECT GAME.

Everyone in the place went nuts, including kids from the other school.

Modern Day Heroes

LONNIE WIMMER is a full-time firefighter and saves lives in his spare time.

Lonnie attended a dinner party at the River Ridge Tap House in Clemmons, North Carolina, last week and noticed that guests were complaining of headaches, nausea and chest pains.

The quick-thinking first responder sprung into action, called the fire station for backup and his fellow officials discovered high levels of carbon monoxide in the building.  Dozens of people were evacuated, 16 were taken to the hospital and a broken heating unit was to blame for the leak.
Some 400 people die of carbon monoxide poisoning every year --most likely because they confuse the symptoms for the flu and don't seek medical attention.

A Guy Is Busted For Theft Because He's Missing a Pinky

A woman in Tavares, Florida called the cops last week when someone stole $800 worth of her clothes out of the dryers at a laundromat.

When the cops reviewed the surveillance footage, they saw a man taking her clothes, and he had one VERY distinct feature:  He was missing one of his PINKIES.

It turns out the cops had some run-ins in the past with a thief named Ruben Collins who was missing a pinky, and how many of those could there be in a city with a population of 14,000?

So they went to Ruben's house on Tuesday, found the woman's clothes on his porch, and arrested him for grand theft.
