Lady Gaga Confirmed To Headline The 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show

It is finally official: Lady Gaga has confirmed that she will be headlining the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Last night, Lady Gaga tweeted, quote, "It's not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the Super Bowl goes Gaga!

Lady Gaga first caught the attention of the NFL when she sang the National Anthem at the last Super Bowl.  They loved the energy she brought to the performance and say that her halftime show will be just as exciting.

Super Bowl 51 will take place in Houston on Sunday, February 5th.


The Man Who Wrote The “Oscar Mayer Wiener Jingle” Has Died

Richard Trentlage, the jingle writer behind the famous "Oscar Mayer Wiener Song," died this week of natural causes.

Richard Trentlage was 87-years old.


NBC Bails On A Brangelina Special

NBC has axed plans to air an hour-long special about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's breakup.

It is believed that they backed out because they don't want to spoil their chances of having either Brad or Angelina refuse any future interviews.

Sources tell “The New York Post” that the special had already been cast and that shooting had already begun before NBC canceled it at the last minute.
