A Guy Claims He's Kidnapped and Torches His Car -- Just So It Won't Get Repoed

This guy really didn't want his car getting repossessed.  And he went WAY out of his way to make sure it didn't happen.

31-year-old Oscar Carrillo from Odessa, Texas called the cops last month to report that he'd been KIDNAPPED at gunpoint.

He told the cops the kidnapper made him drive his car to an open area and once they got there, the kidnapper set the car on fire, and then he took off running.

That seemed strange to the police, since none of it really makes sense--and during their investigation, they figured out what REALLY happened.

Apparently Oscar's car was scheduled to be repossessed because he owed $3,200 on it--so he faked the kidnapping and torched it himself.  I guess he felt like if HE couldn't drive it, no one can. Stupid Criminals!!!

Anyway, he was just charged with felony arson and making a false report. Click here to see his mugshot.

A Kid Forges a Letter From His School to Try to Get More Video Game Time

A woman named Lori just posted a picture on Reddit of the note her seven-year-old son Nathan brought home from school earlier this week.  Now, sure, it was clearly handwritten by a kid and NOT an official letter--but it had a stern message.

Quote, "Dear Parents, Nathan has been doing good in all his classes except for Video Game Class!  If he does not stay up all night playing video games, he will get kicked out of school--From, The School."

Lori quickly got him to admit it was fake, but she was impressed enough with the ridiculousness that she DID give him an extra 30 minutes of video game time that night. Click here to see a picture of the letter.

A Woman Saved a Guy's Life on Their First Date

A 45-year-old woman in Missouri named Janie Hall recently met a guy on the dating site PlentyOfFish.com.  And they had their first date at a Cheesecake Factory in Kansas City about two weeks ago.

We don't know his name, but he's in his 50's.  She liked that he's a veteran who volunteers a lot.  And she's a former respiratory therapist who still works in medicine.

Which ended up being a perfect fit for him--because during their date he had a medical EMERGENCY.

They talked for about 45 minutes after dinner.  Then he started coughing--stood up and FACE-PLANTED on the floor--and BLOOD started coming out of his mouth.

She knew he wasn't choking, because they weren't eating at that point.  So she checked his pulse--couldn't find one--and started doing CPR while a waitress had someone call 911.

She kept doing chest compressions for about eight minutes until paramedics got there.  By that point he had a weak pulse--and because of Janie, he MADE IT.

She followed the ambulance to the hospital, and went back to see him a few days later.  His doctors still aren't sure what happened, but he should be okay.  And yes, he DOES want to go on a second date, which they're planning to do soon.
