Mariah Carey's Ex-Fiancé Producing A Movie About Madonna

It’s no secret that Mariah Carey doesn’t like sharing the spotlight, so this story is sure to trigger another diva meltdown.

Deadline.com has reported that Mariah Carey's ex-fiancé, James Packer, is producing a movie about a famous singer…..and it’s NOT Mariah!  It’s all about Madonna!

The film, which appears to be titled “Blond Ambition,” takes place in New York in the 80s and is based on Madonna's struggles to get her first album released.

The movie is expected to start filming next year.

Alan Thicke Has Died

Another celebrity death at the hands of the year 2016, and this one comes as a total surprise.

ALAN THICKE died yesterday at the age of 69.  That's not exactly young, but there was no indication there was anything wrong.

It would appear that he was still pretty active, because TMZ says he had a heart attack while he was playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter in Burbank.  A witness says he started having chest pains, then he got nauseous, was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Alan was best known for playing the dad, Dr. Jason Seaver, on "Growing Pains", which ran from 1985 to 1992.

A Former "American Idol" Contestant Won "The Voice"

For the first time ever, a former "American Idol" contestant won "The Voice" last night.

SUNDANCE HEAD brought it home for Team Blake.  Team Adam's Billy Gilman was second, followed by Team Alicia's Wé McDonald.

This is BLAKE SHELTON's 5th win . . . the most of any coach.  Adam Levine has three victories, while Usher, Pharrell Williams, and Christina Aguilera have one apiece.

Sundance was on "Idol" nine years ago.  He's the son of singer ROY HEAD, of "Treat Her Right" fame.
