Losers In Lockup

A defendant in Texas turned down a plea deal that would have set him free.

RAYMOND LINDSEY, Jr., of Montgomery County, was charged with assault on a public servant.  Prosecutors offered him a plea bargain that would have allowed him to walk free.  But, Lindsey turned it down and took his chances in court.

The results?  He has been found guilty and sentenced to 40-years in prison.  Stupid Criminals!!!

Lindsey's lawyer says it's the first time he's had a client turn down a plea bargain for such severe charges.

Lindsey is appealing the verdict.

Contents Are Fragile!

Now the person that came up with this is truly a genius!

Dutch bicycle manufacturer VanMoof was tired of having their bikes arriving to customers damaged during the shipping process.  So they started to put a picture of a TV on the boxes.

A quote from the owner, "No matter who was doing the shipping, too many of our bikes arrived looking like they’d been through a metal-munching combine harvester.  It was becoming very expensive for us.”

Their boxes are about the same size as a (really really reaaaally massive) flatscreen television.  Flatscreen televisions always arrive in perfect condition.  So they just printed a flatscreen television on the side of our boxes, and guess what happened?

The shipping damage is down 70 to 80 percent! Click here to see the box.

A Guy Heckled Rory McIlroy for Missing a Putt, Then Made it Himself

The Ryder Cup is happening in Minnesota, that's where the United States plays Europe in golf.

And during a practice round, none of the four guys on the European team could nail an easy-looking 12-foot putt, including Rory McIlroy of Ireland, one of the best players in the world!

A guy in the stands HECKLED them for it, so they challenged HIM to make it.  They actually pulled him out of the crowd, gave him a putter, and put up $100.   Guess what?  He DRAINED it, in front of a huge crowd, with all the European players watching.

His name is David Johnson, and he's from North Dakota.  They all hugged and high-fived afterward too.  Click here to see the video.
