Tourist Knocks Over 18th Century Statue While Trying To Take A Selfie At A Museum

When will people learn?

A Brazilian tourist tried to take a selfie in front of a sculpture of Saint Michael at the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon, Portugal.

The sculpture WAS on a pedestal, but the tourist was so focused on the selfie that he ended up stumbling backwards into the statue, knocking it on the floor where it shattered into several pieces.

The damage done to the statue is irreversible.

Teenagers Stole Muscle Cars from a Dealership, and Immediately Crashed Them

A group of teenagers near St. Louis broke into the showroom of a car dealership last Friday and stole four MUSCLE cars.

Two of them were Dodge Challenger Hellcats, which have about 700 horsepower.  If you're not a car person, that's pretty much like a NASCAR engine.  And each car goes for between 50 and 75 GRAND.

Obviously, their driving skills weren't quite good enough to handle that much power because three of them crashed less than a MILE from the dealership.  Luckily they weren't seriously hurt, but at least two of the cars are totaled.

19-year-old Jordon Neely and 17-year-old Deandre Chiney are facing charges for burglary and receiving stolen property.  Their 16-year-old friend is being charged as a minor, and cops are still looking for the fourth car that was stolen.

Don’t Stiff Your Taxi Driver If He’s Driving Your Getaway Car

If you are going to use a taxi driver as your getaway car in a crime – make sure you don’t stiff him!

Police in Deal, New Jersey say 46-year-old Kenneth Burke and 38-year-old Timothy Foote told a taxi driver to wait outside a home they were robbing last week.  They ran into the home and returned to the cab with a TV and a bunch liquor bottles.

Then they told the driver their address and told him to take them home.  But when they arrived, they ran out of the cab without paying the driver.  So, the driver contacted police, described the two men and gave them their address.

When the cops arrived, they found all the stolen stuff and both of the men were arrested and charged with burglary, conspiracy, theft, and criminal trespass.  Stupid Criminals!!!
