Dragged Passenger Reaches Settlement With United

Dr. David Dao, the 69-year-old passenger who was violently dragged off a flight after refusing to give up his seat, has reached a settlement with United Airlines.

United agreed to pay David an undisclosed amount of money yesterday.  The Associated Press cited legal observers as saying the settlement could be as much as a $5 million dollars.

The settlement comes less than three weeks after the incident in Chicago, in which David suffered a broken nose, lost teeth and a concussion when he was dragged from his seat and down the plane's aisle.

United wanted to seat four crew members on the fully-booked plane who were traveling to work another flight. When no-one accepted their final offer of $800 to give up their seats, four names were chosen at random. Three of the people got off, but David refused to go, saying he had to work the next day.

Piers Morgan Is Sick and Tired of Keeping Up with the Kardashians

PIERS MORGAN wrote a 1,000-word column in Britain's "Daily Mail", about how he's not going to keep up with the KARDASHIANS anymore, because he's SICK AND TIRED of them.

That’s a pretty big deal because Piers is obsessed with celebrities, so if even HE'S had enough, you've probably overstayed your welcome.

It was KIM KARDASHIAN's interview on "Ellen" that was the last straw.  In the column, Piers said, quote, "It was Kim's first TV appearance since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris last year, and she milked it like an over-eager farmhand in a field full of udder-bloated cows."

Scarlett Johansson Wants To Meet Her Granny Lookalike

Scarlett Johansson has a look-a-like – and wants to meet her!

It all started when a Reddit user posted a picture of his grandmother, Geraldine, who used to be almost identical to Scarlett in her youth, 50 years ago. Well, the resemblance is so uncanny, that the picture went viral.

When Scarlett Johansson saw the photo, she was shocked at how much Geraldine looked like her, so she decided to extend an invitation to meet Geraldine herself!

Scarlett posted a video inviting Geraldine to join her at the premiere of her new comedy “Rough Night,” saying that she would cover all of the grandmother’s costs.

Scarlett ended the video saying, “I'll see you at the bar. Be there or be square."
