Passenger Hits Train's Emergency Break Because He Dropped His Phone

Eric Jones of New York was riding on a train to Jersey when he accidentally dropped his phone onto the tracks while he was moving between cars.

Now, normal people would be upset, but they wouldn’t do what Eric did:  He pulled the emergency brake on the train!  Just so he could get his cellphone off the tracks.

The train immediately stopped, causing travel delays of about 15 minutes on several train-lines during the busy morning commutes.  Eric was arrested for defiant trespassing and interfering with transportation.

A Salvation Army Worker Rang His Bell for 151 Hours and Set a World Record

There's a Salvation Army worker in Biloxi, Mississippi named Jamie Richardson and he just broke a world record by ringing his bell outside a Walmart for 151 hours STRAIGHT.

That's about six-and-a-half days.  He started last Monday . . . kept collecting donations until early Sunday morning, and only got a five-minute break every hour to use the bathroom.

So he didn't sleep for an entire WEEK . . . and somehow the constant bell ringing didn't drive him insane.  The previous record was 150 hours.  So he broke it by an hour and decided that was enough.

It's not clear how much money he raised while he was out there, but it sounds like people were pretty generous.  Some even brought him food.

He says he wanted to do it because he used to be homeless, and the Salvation Army got him off the streets.  So breaking the record and getting them publicity was his way of giving back.

Guy Stiffs a Cab Driver After a $475 Ride . . . But Cops Follow His Footprints in the Snow

A 24-year-old guy named Nathan Meleski went to a Green Bay Packers game on Sunday, and afterwards, he took a cab 111 miles to Richfield, Wisconsin.

When they got there, Nathan's total fare was $475.  He told the cab driver he had to go into a truck stop to go to the ATM, but instead of getting the cash, he slipped out a back door and took off running.

The cab driver called the cops.  And they noticed that Nathan had left a trail of FOOTPRINTS in the snow, so they followed it.

They found him sitting at a bar drinking, and he was arrested for defrauding a cab operator.  He's facing a maximum sentence of nine months in jail and a $10,000 fine. Stupid Criminals!!!
